For over 30 years, Peter has provided financial advice to some of Washington, DC’s top attorneys. Through this experience, Peter has continually refined his understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities these busy professionals face. Peter was originally drawn to this specialty field through a natural entrepreneurial spirit and a personal interest in the law. The son of an attorney, Peter observed firsthand his father’s commitment to his clients. The exposure to the demands of a legal practice gave him an appreciation for the needs of those working in the field.
As a Certified Financial Planner™ Professional, Peter not only assists clients with developing plans, he also works with them to ensure the successful implementation of the investment, insurance, and other strategies required to see the plans come to fruition.
Since the start of his career in 1987, Peter has been active in professional and charitable organizations and served in corporate advisory roles. Active on the MassMutual Advisors Association for many years, Peter served as Chairman of the Wealth Management Committee from 2016 – 2018. Peter served as President of the Helping Hands Society (HHS) of Greater Washington – a charitable foundation supported by members of the financial services professions from 2015 – 2018. Past board service has included Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Hope for Henry and Health in Harmony. Peter was honored as the 2019 recipient of The Legacy Award given by NAIFA-GW in recognition of high standards of professional conduct and service to their community.
Outside of work, Peter travels extensively and enjoys experiencing different cultures, foods, and places. Peter is a regular blood donor and a passionate advocate for this cause. He and his wife Lisa reside in Bethesda, Maryland with their two daughters.
