James, who is more commonly called “Jimmy,” is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional with J.L. Hicks Financial Group, located in Tysons, Virginia. Jimmy’s broad knowledge of insurance and investment products can give his clients the confidence they need when working with a financial planner.
Jimmy is a graduate of the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia, which is also where he earned his undergraduate degree. He’s a Four Under Forty Award Recipient awarded on 2/4/2020 by the Greater Washington Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), Formerly on the Board of Directors for the Falls Church City Chamber of Commerce (2017), a member of the Washington, D.C. Estate Planning Council, and a Court of the Table Qualifying Member of the Million Dollar Round Table since 2022. He lives in Vienna, Virginia with his wife Debora, daughters Julia and Laura, and their feisty Pomeranian “Chi-Chi.”
