Doug Hartman brings nearly 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a proven track record of building, leading, and scaling high-performing agency systems across the Midwest and Southern United States. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a deep commitment to identifying, mentoring, and developing talented professionals into successful financial advisors and leaders.

Currently aligned with First Financial Group, Doug plays a key role in advancing the firm’s strategic growth initiatives. He focuses on expanding the organization’s footprint, strengthening advisor development programs, and driving sustainable growth through disciplined recruiting, leadership training, and market expansion strategies. His approach emphasizes a culture of excellence, accountability, and client-centered service.

Doug’s passion for financial services stems from his early experience in his family’s business, shaping his commitment to supporting small- to mid-sized business owners in planning, succession, and long-term financial strategies.

Doug and his wife have been married for 28 years and have two grown sons. He enjoys boating, fishing, and golf, and actively supports organizations such as Ducks Unlimited, the Coastal Conservation Association, the Alzheimer’s Association, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and the San Antonio Food Bank.

Doug earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Texas Tech University and continues his professional education through The American College of Financial Services.
