Craig earned the coveted CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER designation (CFP®), as well as the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) from The American College in Bryn Mawr, PA. He has served as president of the Greater Washington D.C. Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals, president of the Leaders Club of Washington, and has designated a Life Member of the Million Dollar Round Table.
Throughout his long career, Craig has achieved many industry accolades including recognition as Forbes’ Best-in-State Wealth Advisor. The Financial Times listed Craig in the British newspaper’s top 400 best financial advisers for 2020. He is a Five Star Wealth Manager award winner.** While it’s nice to receive such accolades, Craig notes the best recognition comes from happy clients.
Craig and his wife Robin reside in Vienna and can often be found in Rehoboth Beach, DE. They enjoy visits from their three daughters: Alyson, a graduate from Georgetown University’s nurse anesthesia program; Dana, who joined Beden Wealth in 2022; and Natalie, a product manager in New York City and running enthusiast like her dad.
Craig serves on the board of the THANC (Thyroid, Head, and Neck Cancer) Foundation. He ran the Boston Marathon the past 10 years, and supports 261 Fearless, an organization whose mission uses running as a vehicle to empower and unite women through the creation of local running clubs, education programs, and social running events.
Originally from New London, CT, Craig is an avid runner, biker, triathlete, skier and adventure traveler.
