Create a Facebook Business Page
In order to have a compliant Facebook presence, you must first create a Facebook Business page. Follow the steps below to get started.
- Log into your personal Facebook account
- At the top right, click on the plus sign, then click Page
- Page name: FirstName LastName - Title; or FirstName LastName of Agency. 50 character limit
- Category: Financial Service
- Description: enter a brief description that lets people know who you help and how you help them. 155 character limit.
- Create Page
- Images: upload a Profile Picture (your headshot) and a Cover Photo. The Cover Photo is a large, horizontal image that reflects you and/or your practice. Examples: your local skyline at sunrise, your favorite vacation photo, your dog catching a frisbee, a royalty-free "business" stock photo.
- Save
- Click on Edit Page Info in the menu on the left
- Username: a quick way for people to find your page. Example: yournamefinancialprofessional or yournamefinance
- Contact: if preferred, enter your phone number, email address and/or website
- Location: if preferred, enter your primary office location
- Temporary Service Changes: not applicable / leave blank
- Privacy Policy: if you do not have your own website, copy this Privacy Policy.
- Impressum: insert your disclosure
- Products: optional
- Additional Information: a longer description, if preferred
- Price range: unspecified
You Must Be Logged into Your Weylman Account to Access the Classes and Resources
Here are your first steps and login credentials.
- Step 1: Go to www.weylmancenter.com and login using your temporary password. Scroll to the bottom and click "Update Password" to create your personal password.
Username: Your email address
Temporary Password: ffgadv
- Step 2- Go to the Getting Started tab and take the time to visit and become familiar with each portion of the site.
- Step 3- Go to the University Video Courses tab
- Step 4- Enter the Advisor Courses classroom
Step 5- Take and complete the Achieving Your Goals to Make Your Vision a Reality course.
NOTE: Knowing you are committed to growth, it is suggested that you not only watch the video class BUT also print out the workbook for that class AND complete the execution steps as they are detailed.
