Gaffar Chowdhury grew up in Alexandria, VA and has been a DC area resident for over 30 years. He graduated from Virginia Tech with his undergraduate and received his graduate Executive Certification in Financial Planning from Georgetown University.
When Gaffar is out of the office, he enjoys CrossFit, traveling to new cities and being out on his boat. He currently serves on the board of the Women's Bar Association Foundation (WBAF), National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA-GWDC) and the Pamplin Society of Virginia Tech's Pamplin College of Business.
Gaffar is passionate about serving his clients and designing lifelong wealth plans that work under any and all circumstances. His specializations include protection planning, asset management, business strategies and wealth accumulation & distribution planning.
As a Managing Director with FFG, Gaffar also plays an integral role in the growth and development of the Bethesda and Reston offices. Along with building and maintaining his practice, he continues to grow his team of Financial Professionals to better serve clients. Gaffar currently lives at the Wharf in Southwest DC with his three year old, Pointer Lab, Remy.
